SubTerrain Hot Wire Foam Cutter is an electric cutting tool that uses a heated nichrome wire to slice through extruded foam cleanly, quickly, and without crumbling. The hot wire produces smoother, more precise cuts than any blade-based tool - essential for carving mountain faces, cutting complex curves, and making accurate angle cuts in foam.
Plugs into a standard wall outlet and heats up quickly. Works with SubTerrain Foam Sheets and all extruded polystyrene foam. Use with the Foam Cutter Guide for straight, repeatable cuts. Replacement wire sold separately. Part of the complete Woodland Scenics SubTerrain system.
