Bare-branch trees like these are invaluable for fall, winter, or drought-affected scene settings where full-foliage trees would look out of place. Each tree has a flexible armature for custom shaping, and base pins are included for permanent terrain installation. Compatible with HO, N, and O scale.
Dead elms work particularly well in rural settings as remnants of Dutch elm disease, in neglected farm scenes, at the edge of a swamp or marsh, or silhouetted against a winter backdrop. They add narrative depth and a sense of time passing to any scene.
