Description
A 7-ounce bag of Woodland Scenics coarse grade ballast in Cinders - larger-grain granular material suited for O, S, and large HO scale trackwork where bigger stone chunks look appropriate.
Coarse ballast provides bold, visible texture and is also popular for filling hoppers and gondolas, creating gravel aggregate piles, simulating quarry waste, or adding chunky texture to industrial groundwork. Coarse cinder ballast replicates the chunky coal ash fill used in steam-era engine facilities, roundhouse approaches, and yard areas. Adds authentic dark, matte texture to steam-transition layouts at O scale.
Apply using the wet-water and diluted glue method for secure, scale-accurate results. Non-magnetic and blend-compatible with other Woodland Scenics ballast colors.
