Description
A 7-ounce bag of Woodland Scenics medium grade ballast in Brown - realistic granular scenery material calibrated for HO and larger scales where a slightly coarser stone texture reads correctly. Medium grain ballast closely matches the appearance of prototype crushed rock ballast beds used under railroad ties.
Apply with diluted white glue using the wet-water method: spray diluted water first, then apply thinned glue to wick beneath the ballast without disturbing it. Medium brown ballast represents the warm-toned limestone or sandstone aggregate used by many regional and shortline railroads.
Suitable for track ballasting, wagon loads, coal or gravel detail, road shoulders, and industrial site groundwork. The non-magnetic material blends easily with other ballast colors for a realistic mixed-stone effect.
